Child Called It Outline

The book called A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer is about how is mother treated him and abused him. And how through cleverness and imagination determination he is able to remain sane.

To begin, with Dave is determined. For example, when his mom pours dishwasher soup into his mouth, Dave hold his breath and refuses to swallow it. Also, determined not to swallow ammonia Dave fights with mom by moving his head side to side to spilling most of it. Furthermore, Dave determined not to cry because he doesn’t want his mom to take pleaser in that.

Furthermore, he’s imaginative. For instance he imagines that he’s found his mom’s missing item and she rewards him with hugs and kisses. More over, when Dave is starving he fantasizes about eating a colossal burger. Additionally, while doing chores, he looks out the window and imagines he’s with the other children.

Furthermore, he's clever. For instance, Dave stalls his mom from burning him on the stove by asking his mom annoying questions. Furthermore, because he’s starving he steals food from classmate’s lunches. Additionally, when his mom slams his face into a old diaper, Dave holds his breath and clamps his mouth shut.

As on can see, These traits made Dave strong been able to survive all that he when through with his mom. Dave became successful out of all of this he joined Air Force at a young age. The message Dave is giving is that you should not give up, there is always a way out and to never let go of your imagination.
