Bud Light’s “Time flies when you’re having Bud Light” ad was great. It shows four people standing around with Bud Light in their hand and they look like they’re having a great time. having an amazing time. You can see one girl has a bottle of Bud Light in her hand, as well as one of the guys. They appear to be in a bar or a club. The words “Time flies when you’re having” cover most of the picture along with a bottle of Bud Light. In fine print closer to the bottom it says “With just 110 calories’, Bud Light is the choice for light, refreshing, thirst quenching fun.

The first thing people would see on this ad is the big bold letters and the picture of the bottle. Big bold letters are used to draw attention and this ad did that perfectly.  That is usually a key part in ads, catching people’s attention. They also show two girls who appear to be in their mid twenties to early thirties. They are attractive and that is sure to catch the male audience’s eyes. That is probably the main audience of this advertisement. It could also appeal to women as well. They could be one of the two girls having a good time. This ad appeals to Maslow’s need of love and belonging. People want to feel loved and like they belong. The people in this advertisement definitely look loved and like they feel they belong. This ad wants people to think Bud Light will help them in fulfilling that need.
