September 11

Today we started our United States Trip. First we arrived to the Concepción airport like at 12 o’clock and then we leaved the city like 1 hour and a half later to Santiago. There we have to wait like 8 hours before our fly to Miami, so in that time I tried to sleep because the last night I didn’t slept well so I was tired, and some of my classmates went to eat something and others buy some presents to their host families. And after all that, we finally take the flight to Miami.

September 12

We arrived very early to Miami; there we buy some presents or things that say “Miami” to our families and ourselves, and after wait a couple of hours we take the flight to Washington D.C. It was a short trip and we arrived like at 11:30 am, and after pass all the security of the airport we leaved it and we boarded the bus that took us to the hotel. In the hotel we take a shower and we order all our stuff in the room. After being in the hotel like 2 hours we lived it and we went to the mall, in which we ate lunch and buy many things for ourselves and to our families, like t-shirts and stuff like that. We lived the mall at 9 pm and in the night we go to a place in which we buy things to drink and eat meanwhile we where in our rooms.

September 13

Today we do a trip in D.C., first we go to the Capitol, then the White House (but before see it we stayed looking the squirrels because it was the first we saw an squirrel), the Washington monument (in which we can’t enter because of the “earthquake” that happened the month before in Virginia), the Lincoln Memorial (in where they where filming a TV show), the Jefferson Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial and finally the National Museum of Natural History in which I buy some stuff and I also take many photos. Then we return to the hotel and there I stay the rest of the day, but in the night they went to Wendy’s but I don’t go because I wasn’t hungry and Lucas doesn’t feel good so me and Tomás stayed with him in our room.

September 14

Today we went to the Capitol’s Library and the Capitol Visitor Center in which we watch a short movie and we saw the many statues and paintings that there are. Later we ate lunch in the Mc Donald’s of the National Air and Space Museum and then we go to the OEA in where we meet Chilean people that actually work there. After that we went to the Opera at the Kennedy Center and we watch Tosca. Then we return to the hotel and in the night we watch a movie with my friends in our hotel room.

September 15
