In novel “The Hobbit” by J.R.R Tolkien, the journey has brought a very keen role of self-discovery for Mr. Bilbo Baggins. Self-discovery was often displayed for Mr. Bilbo Baggins at many points of his journey to Dale. Such as the steal from the trolls, saving the dwarves from the spiders and the elf kings prison. Mr. Bilbo Baggins the very unadventurous, conformist slowly discovering a different side to himself, which leads us to our first argument: the steal from the trolls.

My first argument is; the steal from the trolls. Is this new side for Bilbo becoming more useful?

In my second argument the dwarves are captured by spiders, Bilbo is the only one who has his senses and can save his fellow dwarves. A spider tried to trap the hobbit like the other dwarves but then ‘“he beat the creature of with his hands… Bilbo came at it before it could disappear and stuck
