Short Story - "night Talkers"

In the short story, "Night Talkers" this young man named Dany travels back from New York to Beau Jour without telling his aunt. He was trying to surprise her with his visitation, but once he arrived at his Aunt's house, he was welcomed like he never left the tiny, poor village. Within the story, he realized that he should stop thinking about the past and no matter what happens, look towards the future.

Dany was the main protagonist in the short story. He wanted to see his aunt after not seeing her in a long time. All he wanted to do in Haiti was just to tell his Aunt that he may found the murderer that killed his parents and blinded his aunt. Being raised by his aunt can cause a difference in life when he thought his life was dreadful when living in New York, but he soon figured out that wasn't the case. He looked around at the small village, the people in the village looked up to him, thinking that he has done great job in his life and shouldn't get discouraged about the way New Yorkers treat him.
