Page One: Inside the New York Times

Nowadays the Internet has made an enormous amount of new information available to the general public. I see many media messages on the Internet everyday such as Facebook, Twitter, and the newspaper websites. I also see many advertisements on the street. I don’t usually care too much about the advertisements on the Internet or somewhere, but I usually consider messages that catch my attention.
When I see the media messages somewhere, I usually ignore because I don’t believe the messages. Because many free sources that allow everybody to find online today such as free stories to read, I think readers may not believe everything they read. For example, the film “Page One: Inside the New York Times” now charges for full access to its website. You have to pay for a subscription to continue reading. There are a lot of online news sources, as David Carr mentioned in the documentary that would not have any stories to share if the traditional print outlets were terminated. It’s easy to find different versions of the same story online, but I’ve never stopped to think who wrote the original version. I will ignore messages that don’t come out from an original version, and it does not be trust in the public. On the other hand, I believe that newspapers still have the old media which I consider to provide the investigative journalism that is hard to find elsewhere. For instance, the film makes sure newspapers, especially The New York Times stays alive. If The New York Times increases advertisements on their website and continues their online publication, I will consider and read the newspaper.
In my opinion, media messages exposes everywhere, but I can ignore messages that is not important and public trust. For example, some advertisements on Facebook are not information to trust because somebody might have a business scam. I just consider the important things from the original one.
