Hbo Reaction Paper

I have been stuck in the traffic for almost 30 minutes and to make things worst I am scheduled to take my semi-finals examination in HBO, I told myself it isn’t a good day for me at all. So I anticipated that I already missed my examination for today. When I arrived in our room I was surprised that they are not taking the traditional exams as I expected but instead they are having a group activity! Fortunately my professor (Ma’m Dolor) was so kind and understanding that she still allowed me to join my group as they perform the activities, so even though I feel a bit awkward as aside from I am already late I am also the leader in our group. I wasted no time and I approached my team, after I apologized for being late we right away put our game face on!

After the class I realized I was wrong for thinking it’s a bad day for me, instead I should be thankful as I experienced this activity today. It was indeed fun and challenging at the same time, though our team didn’t succeed in getting the best materials available as at first they somewhat lost focus in collecting the money needed to purchase them, we still enjoyed the game especially during the part when we helped each team member to build the tower for it really tested how eager each member of the team to win the said game. Despite of having weak or inept materials everyone still shared their thoughts and ideas on what kind of design we should utilize to build our tower and the same how we can strengthen its foundation, you really can see everyone was smiling though there’s a pressure on us as the time was running out quickly and then the girls at the background started to do their cheering to boost the morale of the team up until the very last second.

Yes we didn’t get to make our tower stand-still and it even collapsed in no time. However because of the said activity we were able to build one thing and that is camaraderie. For me what happened to the team today just showed what a real team building is all about, not through the towers that we are able to build, but with each and every member’s participation and contributions that made it all worth it. As it is a game there will always be winners, but for me everyone is a winner for we finally deciphered how to work as a team, and next time I am very confident that we can win as a TEAM.
