  • I think the business model that best fits the internationalization of zumba is network model because this talk mainly about handling activity interdependencies between several business actors and this is what makes zumba, there are 82,500 locations that offer classes from Zumba-certified instructors (so-called ZIns – see later), these instructors are actors within business and at same way help to growth of Zumba,  the actors are linked to each other through exchange relationships, I think that knowledge in the different part of the world must be the same that the original,for this reason in the reading say that is  requires that other actors be motivated to engage in interaction, something that is resource-demanding and that may require several firms to make adaptations in their ways of performing business and  the business network is organized by each actor’s willingness to engage in exchange relationships with some of the other actors in the network and the most important is that the relationships of a firm in a domestic network can be used as bridges to other networks in other countries and can be important in the initial steps abroad and in the subsequent entry of new markets.

  • This business model was successful at first instance by innovation and the way in how unveiled with people, Zumba managed to reach 125 countries worldwide with their branded fitness programme, also was known for its adoption of celebrities, this made possible that it was even more recognized and that at the same time had more impact in the market. We know that currently internet advertising and social media plays an important role for to introduce any product or service in the market, these mediums were used by zumba, well as also many people discovered Zumba via YouTube videos or for Facebook page. All businesses seeking profitability, for this reason Zumba Fitness makes its money on its instructors’ academy, instructors’ courses, and has built its own line of hip, colourful clothing and footwear, workout DVDs, two video games, original music and a lifestyle magazine, Z-Life, these factor are important for business sustainability and finally their market research is cheap and they did not need to spend much money and the key was also the business model because it gave a kind of licenses for people around the world could do zumba.
