As a socially responsible company, we feel scaling is a massive obligation of ours and is something that we are intent on doing. There are many reasons for our company to begin scaling. In order to compete with the magnitude of the Childhood Obesity epidemic in Ireland, we need to grow our social impact. Also, scaling the company is the only way to maximise our Social Return on Investment (SROI). This means that we can evaluate the impact that has been made on stakeholders, improve how our investments perform and identify ways in which these can be improved. However, problems can arise such as: the feeling of lack of urgency within the company, the fear that growth will disrupt the ongoing proceedings and also, there may be different visions within the company. We aim to eradicate these problems with our scaling strategy.

Our strategy for scaling is simple. We only intend on scaling when the correct resources, practices and expertise to be able to deal with a larger project are firmly in place. Our scaling strategy begins with our company mission.

The company intends on first targeting Dublin as its base. Here, it aims to provide Primary schools and Parents with the knowledge and equipment needed in order to battle childhood obesity. If operations in Dublin are a success and Primary Schools and Parents agree to the extra physical education and €5 per week, respectively, we then intend on tackling Primary Schools throughout Leinster, entering one county at a time. This is due to the long term nature of the project. We see this not as a problem that cannot be tackled overnight, but with the correct precautions regarding scaling the company, in time every corner of the country will reap the benefits of our scheme.

Before scaling, the Company as a whole will require firm support in order to create a supportive culture of our activities. This begins with the parents at the talks that our company will hold in Primary Schools across Dublin and then eventually across the Whole Country. Also, scaling the company and conducting
