The purpose of this paper is to address productivity (cross selling of checking and savings accounts) on three different shifts at Cavalier Bank and ways to improve production on all three shifts because even through
there was great improvement in sales, the sales figures for each period were below the projected sales percentage from October 1, 2013 to October 31, 2014.
The branch manager at Cavalier Bank asked during a staff meeting on November 12, 2014 wanted to know why the productivity (cross selling of checking and savings accounts) during three shifts. For the Monday and
Tuesday shift from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, sales of these products increased by 25 percent from last year during the same time last year. Cross sells of checking and savings accounts during the Wednesday and Thursday
shift from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm increased by 10 per cent (projected sale percent for this shift was 20 per ent and cross sells of checking accounts. During the Friday and Saturday shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm sales
decreased by 10 percent (projected sales for this shift was 17.5 per cent).
