Introduction

“To win in the marketplace you must first win in the workplace.” –Doug Conant. Due to dynamic nature of environment, organizations are facing several challenges.  One of many challenges for a business is how to satisfy the needs of its employees in order to cope up with the ever changing and evolving environment. For the employees to have an increase in effectiveness, efficiency and productivity, an employee must first be engaged. Employee engagement is focusing on right people, building people’s excitement, and preserving their passion.

It is said that employees are the most valuable asset of an organization. The success of an organization and the performance of each employee are proportional. Numerous studies have been done on how employee engagement impacts an employee’s productivity. An employee's workplace environment is a key determinant of the quality of their work and their level of productivity. How well the workplace engages an employee impacts their desire to learn skills and their level

It will either lead employees to engagement or disengagement. Workplace environment plays an important role on how employees impacts their desire to learn skills and their level of motivation to perform. The emergence of SM Mall of Asia Complex as one of the fastest growing business district in the country provides opportunities for numerous people to have a decent job and a decent workplace. But can SM Mall of Asia Complex bring out the best in people in terms of workplace environment especially on millennial employees? Will it nurture engagement of employees with regards to workplace environment aspects? What are the impacts SM Mall of Asia Complex can do to millennial employees in terms of workplace environment?
