Business Torts and Ethics

All business owners need to be prepared for possible risks and liabilities that may take place from everyday accidents of crime threats. Rental property owners that have tenants living in apartment communities the needs are greater. All tenants consider the communities their place of living and call it their home and they expect to be safe and feel secure in the environment which they live in. To prevent these incidents from reoccurring proper lighting, locks and all repairs should be established or made. Even having security through the complex would help prevent such events or incidents from happening.

Intensions of the Intruder

In the case scenario provided the intruder is reliable for all the damages and injuries that taken place. The intruder was the one who commit the crime and break into Sharron’s home. The intruder maybe never thought of or intended to break into someone’s home. The only thing that would keep him out of jail would be to prove he did not intentionally commit the crime.

I believe that the intruder went to Sharron’s home with all intentsions to do what he did, also, I believe that the intruder has been watching her or knows her somehow to know who she was and why he would do it.

Conclusion

To prevent or to minimize the incidents or events from happening or reoccurring would be to have a security guard and security system in the complex. The responsibility would be to contact the law to handle the situation and to press charges for the crimes the intruder committed. What should have taken place was when the intruder was noticed law enforcement should have been notified to take further action to stop the intruder quietly.
