Elevator Pitch
My career experiences spans for almost 18 years which includes military, telecommunications and retails careers. I started as a military member for the United States Marine Corps back in 2000. In my 11 years’ career with the Marines I have learned multiple different skills but the most important skill I learned was being able to lead and teach people and also to communicate with different types of people. After I got out of the military and started to work with retail those skills that I have learned in the military help me succeed in the retail industry and communicate with people effectively.
Companies of Interest
This day in age technology has created tons of exciting new companies. The one that would be very exciting to work with and for would be virgin Galactic. This company in still in their youth stages but being able to in the future fly into space would be one of the milestone for anyone. When this company I believe would be able to provide customer services and also in a leading role be able to manage people to complete our goal. I also have the good computer knowledge that would benefit the company in the long term because I have the basic knowledge but I also have room to learn more and I am teachable.
A second company I would say would be whole foods. I believe in being healthy and having a healthy life. I say that because my goal is especially having kids is that we should be a example to our kids and with that is that I want to be able to enjoy playing with my kids outdoors not have to worry about any type of conditions that could have been prevented when I was young. So with my communication skills I could use that to teach and education people about foods to eat and avoid.
The last would be any type of law enforcement career. I say that because I have given 11 years’ worth of my life to protecting a nation from terrorist or people that wants to commit harm to this nation. I would people my skills that I have learned from the military and use it law enforcement career and continue to protect people from others that would want to commit harm to family or anyone.
