Data Presentation

An automobile, auto car, motor car or car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Objective of this data presentation is to analyze, interpret and present the data regarding to the mean, standard deviation, minimum and maximum of different variables that affect in the automobiles released in 1978. The data presented by table, graph and a pie chart. This study entails about 74 car models of automobile in 1978.

Table 1 showed the summary of descriptive statistics. That illustrates the different variables such as price, mileage (mpg), repair record 1978, headroom, trunk space, weight, length, turn, displacement and gear ratio that will affect in the decision of the buyers in acquire automobiles.

In the year 1978 the automobiles price or average mean is $6165.26 that ranges from $3291 to $15906. It varying a high standard deviation of price which is 2949.50 that indicates the data points are spread out over a large range of price.

It can be seen on the table below that the mileage of each model is also observed. The automobiles can run an average mileage of 21.30 mpg (miles per gallon). The standard deviation is low as 5.79. Automobiles approximately can run at least 12 mpg (miles per gallon) up to 41 (mpg) miles per gallon by most efficient fuel.

During the year 1978 the repair record of 74 automobiles is also indicated. It sheen on the table below a record of automobiles had repaired at highest rate of 5 times and lowest of once. The average times of each model are 3.41 times of being repaired while it had low standard deviation of .99.

Next is the size of headroom that interpreted in inches. The average headroom is 2.99 in., while the largest headroom has 5 in. and the smallest headroom had only 1.50 in. It also indicated the standard
