The words children and war seems to be two words that should be come together. Unfortunately, war affect children as it affects adults and even more. Children need attention that shown by their parent but during war time. Trying to protect family and stress cause to kids grow-up without their parent's love. War affect children both psychologically and physically. Physically, approximately 1million children killed in Holocaust by Nazis. Also, many people damaged by weapons. Survivors of war times may affect next generations, too. On the other hand, they will live with hate against their enemy, they will see opponent race with prejudice. Example of breaking Golden Rule. Example for that can be Jew and Germans from WWII.

It is usually said by psychologists that events, depend on how influential it is, happens in one person's life can shape his thoughts and perspective of life-style in a bad way or in a good way. Consider as a good or bad may change from person to person. Therefore; parents have to take care of what happens around their daughter or son. Listening what they do, feel them to how much you care about them and treating them as a adult when they share their thoughts about new events. As kids grow up if parent still act them like they are 'kid' can damage relation between kid and parent especially when they come to age between 12-16. As happens in Anne Frank, Anne's relation with her father is very good until age 13. Anne describes her father, Otto Frank, as the best person. But when Anne write a letter to her father and Otto does not take it seriously and Otto wants to change her thoughts. Parents would want to change their kids thoughts because at puberty, youth cannot make decisions more clearly than their parents. However, they should not tell them directly to change their mind. Explaining and giving examples from their past experiences and tell them why should act like how his/her parents want would be more effective.
