Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union most belong to the temperate continental climate. Winter cold, summer warmth, age season is shorter, annual temperature difference is big. Summer rain, moisture is mainly composed of west wind into the north Atlantic, annual rainfall of about 500 mm. Because the temperate zone continental climate of the annual average temperature is low, so the nutrients required for plant growth to long time to accumulate, so makes the crop growing period long.
