Autobiography

I am Lin, 21. Though I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from the prestigious Kaohsiung Arts University, I am still swimming in and out of ambitions. I feel that life is about taking risks, and that includes taking an Arts degree instead of a Business major. I risk a long stay in the unemployment line. The person I am at 21 is a product of my parentage. My father was a street artist and I have witnessed his arduous journey. Despite his objections, I was determined to fulfil my aspiration as an artist.

I used to be a dreamer, and enjoyed staring at the stars. When I was younger, I used to fly so high in my dreams until I fell and hit the floor - that was when I broke some limbs, along with my heart. Now, I am more inclined towards practicality but also recognize the fact that life is about finding a balance between the two extremes.

After my repeated failures, I decided to take my future into my own hands. I learnt many essential skills on my own. By far, I have mastered Photoshop CS6 and Autodesk Maya for 3D animation. I want to live, breathe and learn as I grow, to always enhance my skills and be prepared for challenges ahead. To put my skills to the test, I started working in the arts scene.
