Results of 2016 Presidential Election

        As all of American citizens watched the 2016 presidential election day come to a close, many became worried while others were ecstatic. We all know Donald Trump won and it is a very sad and terrifying day for the U.S. no matter your racial background. While Hillary was not the best choice for presidency either, she had tons of more experience in politics, she is a better negotiator with foreign countries, and she is just more reasonable than Trump. In my eyes, my family and I are very worried where the U.S. will be in 4 years, but as people we must stand together and do what’s right for our country. The 2016 election results were absolutely terrifying in my opinion because Donald Trump could start a war, destroy the economy, and he is a huge liar.

        First off, starting a war can happen in a few ways. President Trump talks big, he states he wants to ”Increase military size and strength.” In terms of terrorism he is in favor of “killing the families of terrorists and go beyond waterboarding.” President Trump in my position is the true terrorist. He has publicly stated he wants to nuke terrorist groups and their countries which is something you don’t do. That’s how you piss off the terrorists. Trump has began to seek friendship with Putin who is already being attacked by Turkey and various terrorist groups. So overall Trump does not seem fit to be our 45th President because he cannot shut his mouth when it comes to foreign policy and he puts the U.S. in a very sticky situation because of it.

        Next, is the economy of the United States. We can honestly anticipate a somewhat higher GPD, higher inflation rate, and higher interest rates. And also a proven fact is that when Trump won the election, the stock market dropped 900 points! (CNN) And at one point that night the Mexican peso was worth absolutely nothing. Crazy how the stock market can suddenly plummet even before he’s actually in office. And our new President of the United States has probably never payed taxes before in his entire life. This is why he declined his annual salary as our President because he would have to reveal his tax reports.. What a great man.
