Who was George Washington, some same he was one of the best presidents we had in this country? What was his up bringing that made him so an influential man? What started he’s political career what made him choose to run as the first president of the 13 colonies? The final question would be what significant influence did George Washington have on American at the time he was the president. He was the first person to be elected by the people to become the first president. Some have said he is also the first spy or the grandfather of the FBI, CIA and some of the government’s first agency’s to protect us from those who wanted to see this great country fail and get the secrets. Was he part of a secret society known as the Freemasons there are photos of Washington in masonic dress? As shown above there are many questions to be answered and by reading this it might give a better understanding of one of the greatest Presidents to live.

George Washington was born at his father’s plantation in Pope’s Creek in Westmoreland County, Virginia, on February 22, 1732. His father, Augustine Washington, was the leading planter in his area and also served as a justice of the county court. His first wife Janet Butler died in 1729. In 1735 the Augustine family moved to the Potomac River to another Washington home, Little Hunting Creek Plantation later renamed Mount Vernon. As a result of all the moving there was little known of Washington’s childhood and it still remains the most poorly understand part of his life. There are many popular fables illustrating his honesty and physical strength have long taken the place of documents that can draw out what his childhood was like at least a blueprint. One story that is popular is when Washington cut his father cheery tree. Further more there was not enough information on the education got they still got education through private tutors and local private schools. Boys back then begin with seven lessons reading, writing, and basic arithmetic. Later on once they passed that they would be taught Latin and Greek such needed subjects like geometry, bookkeeping and surveying. However, the death of his father made his studies abroad hard for George Washington because of that his formal education ended around the age of 15.

George Washington was also part of a fraternity called the Freemasons this group has its critics and also the believers. On November 4, 1752 was accepted to receive the first degree the Entered Apprentice degree at Fredericksburg, Virginia Lodge No. 4. Then a year later he received the degree of Fellowcraft on March 3, 175, couple months later he received the last degree which is called the Master degree.
