marketing plan is a comprehensive document or blueprint that outlines a company's advertising and marketing efforts for the coming year. It describes business activities involved in accomplishing specific marketing objectives within a set time frame.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Build awareness for TAB-O-FY to help more people know about the company and the services we provide.
  • Creating company’s image. With a marketing plan, we wanted to enable more people to share our brand and discuss what it has to offer.
  • To develop the customer base for up-selling. Once you establish customers with your marketing plan, you will be able to offer them your other services. This can be a great way to up-sell more products and services to your already loyal following.
  • Use strong advertising messages to set your company apart from competition. A marketing plan will allow your company to create a message that will help differentiate your company from your competition. This will enable more consumers to choose your brand over another.
  • Understand and create the best marketing mix strategy for your company. Find the best marketing methods to advertise your company. A mixture of marketing methods will help you share your message in a variety of ways.

METHODOLOGY:

How did we go about establishing the marketing plan?

  1. Decided the marketing budget-

Decided how much we want to spend on each aspect of marketing. Because we were a start-up, we needed to devote quite a bit of money toward marketing efforts in order to establish a customer base.

  1. Researched and identified customers-

It was important to understand the target market for targeting them. It gave an idea of how will we promote products and services to potential customers.

  1. Studied the current marketing trends, learnt how they can impact our target market, and saw how they might fit in with our marketing plans.

We provide access to this audience in the following ways:

  • Social Media
  • Facebook posting about events
  • Pinterest – R&D other boards
  • Twitter – posting recent updates

  • Digital Marketing
  • Blog Main promotion, Guest blogs
  • Word of mouth in front of standard restaurants /pubs/bars/ clubs ( including Dominoes, KFC, McDonalds, CCD etc)
  • Advertising & Promotion
  • Digital Media promotion will be done through Youtube, Facebook and Whatsapp promotion
  • Digital Marketing will be about transparency and one stop solution.
  • Blogs and opinion polls will be done for public interaction and high level of participation
  • Promoting in various colleges in Bangalore so that students get aware of our product.
  • Various hoardings will be put across the city so that people notice it.
  • Trade Shows
  • Participation in various start up workshops
  • Monthly basis trade show
  • COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Identifying your competitors and evaluating their strategies to determine their strengths and weaknesses relative to those of your own product or service is the key to put a step ahead than others”

A competitive analysis is a critical part of your company marketing plan. With this evaluation, you can establish what makes your product or service unique--and therefore what attributes you play up in order to attract your target market.
