Exhibition of Khusro Subzwari

 in Switzerland

 ( 22nd to 25th of Nov 2012 )

( in an Art Fair known as ‘Magia Artigiana’ in Lugano city in Switzerland ):

 Pakistan’s image has been shattered in the last many years. The image that terrorism is the common culture here, has been recurringly dominating the scene as projected by the foreign media.

There are many Pakistanis who are trying to counter this perception and propagating the true culture of Pakistan by projecting the rich heritage, on their own initiative.

In this respect Artist Khusro Subzwari Participated in an International Art Fair in Switzerland. Moved by the themes and vibrant colors of his paintings, Khusro was invited by the organization of this International Art Fair, in Switzerland, known as Magia Artigiana. He exhibited his paintings mainly on 3 different themes.

1) Vibrant colours in Pakistani Cultural celebrations

2) Beauty   of Nature in Pakistan

 And

3) Sufism

This is the first time that Pakistani Art was included this International art fair by the Swiss Organization. The art work was well taken amongst the visitors and art lovers from Canada, Italy and Switzerland, they were highly surprised to see such rich culture of Art in Pakistan.

 Earlier Khusro Subzwari participated in many International exhibitions to project the true soft image of Pakistan. His previous exhibitions were held in;

2 exhibitions in Istanbul (Turkey) in 2011

One exhibition in Asia House in London (to be continued till the 8th of Dec)

And now the Swiss Art Fair in Lugano Switzerland, held between 22nd to 25th of Nov, 2012

Khusro seriously believes that if each one us contributes a bit in his own way, would definitely make a big difference in rectification of the mis -perception about Pakistan.
