The water seems greedy yet searches for immaculacy as George's eyes join the darkness. The game is already started, probably finished by now. But the apprehensive eyes on board don't expect an end. Thoughts abdicate feelings. Logic is denied and the game restarts with truth-or-dare?

"But I don't trust you," the smallest and most timid Sam tells his older brother, Rocky. Sam has loosened the trust on Rocky; this distrust indicates a huge loss of innocence. Although, Sam finds him protective enough to console himself as a victim of a bully. Despite Sam's lack of enthusiasm, "If we hurt him, we'll be just as bad as him," Rocky sees no solution but revenge on George, a dyslexic chubby kid who fails to empathize. The transformation begins as Sam intends to be a man rather than a victim in the eyes of Millie, his innocent crush who abruptly tags along in the black and white image. "Teachers don't care, somebody gotta giveā€¦," Sam admits to Millie, confirming his eagerness to see the "cruel" George suffering.

Following Rocky's invitation of Sam's manufactured birthday party for George, Marty plays the role of a leader, a negative result of a higher layer of bullying. Traumatized by his father's suicide, Marty seeks power. His dark costumes foreshadow his so-called "power" later on the boat. Marty's dominance does not exclude Clyde, "a shy teenager who is constantly harassed because of his two gay fathers by Marty."

George, still playing an egotistical character, joins Sam's birthday party on the boat in order to prospect a better tomorrow. Studying George's debilitated behavior from a closer view, Sam realizes that George is just a lonely kid who attempts to fit in with his new peers.
