The unexpected

When Maeve who was on lookout duty saw something falling right towards the young boy below, she lunged herself off the crows nest. She screamed right towards the young blonde. "Siff!"

The Young child opened his eyes. He turned his head towards Maeve, completely oblivious to what caused her such distress. When it finally clicked in his mind something was wrong he walked closer. Not a second later a big bang boomed behind him. Whatever had landed created a crater and dust was surrounding it like a cloak. Maeve climbed down the mast, relieved that the child was safe.

"What's going on?" The blonde captain questioned her crew. Her blue headed swordsmen; Felix was the one to answer her.

"A women almost crushed little Siff." He stated. When Camari's eyes landed on the girl stuck in the crater she reached out to her. "Are you okay? Can you tell me your name?"

The fallen girls reaction was quicker than Camari was expecting.

"I'm Seraphina." She answered as she pat the dust off herself and stood. When they were able to see her face better, the men were love struck by her beauty. She spun her head, looking for a clue to her location. She couldn't figure it out.

"Uh, Where am I?" As she asked a question, a strangled scream resonated throughout the whole ship.

"What was that?!"Camari howled, concerned for the safety of her friends. It took only a moment to scan the whole crew and figure out who was missing. Faust wasn't there. Terrified for him and her own life, Camari cried out orders for them to search. Camari stayed with the unexpected visitor while the others rummaged the ship.

"Up here! I found him!" All eyes looked up to the steel blue sails. Wrapped up in between was there missing mate, he lingered by rope and his chest exposed. Engraved in his chest was a mark like that of a pirates mark of fear. Whatever it was, knew the skull and bones meant death to all who see it.

Eyes were only peeled away from the corpse when a loud thud was heard. The girl named Seraphina was shrivelled into a ball.  She was shaking erratically, a sign that meant nothing good.

"Maeve!." Camari hollered. Maeve the doctor came swinging down within seconds. One look at the girl and she knew what to do. Maeve inserted a sedative into the nape of her neck, the girl coming to a still.

"What was that about?" Doctor Maeve asked but her captain only shrugged. When Seraphina opened her eyes, the doctor asked her what was wrong. She tried her best to become one with the bed but there was only so far she could go. No matter what she or the others did her mental state was too unstable. If whatever murdered Faust had something to do with her no answers would come anytime soon.

"What do you think killed Faust?" Felix questioned as he walked unheard into the sick bay. His eyes were completely focused on the girl in bed. Camari took notice of the way he was eyeing her like prey.

"I...I don't think she has anything to do with it."

"How can she not! It had to of been her!" The blue headed swordsmen snapped. Ever since Faust had arrived on this ship those two had immediately become close friends, his anger was understandable. "She probably has a devil fruit. That's how she did it and that's why she's in that state!" His reasoning didn't go unheard. Others had come to the Sick bay to help solve this problem. He was right though, an unknown girl just lands on this ship and an almost immediate death follows. It couldn't be a coincidence.
