CHAPTER 3: METHODOLOGY

  1. SDLC

SDLC is the acronym of Software Development Life Cycle. It is also called as Software development process. The software development life cycle (SDLC) is a framework defining tasks performed at each step in the software development process.

Planning

The researchers will be proposing a Sales and Inventory System for Copy Pacific Trading & Services. The company is using a manual system for their inventory, the researchers will propose a system for the company that will contribute of this study for they are experiencing too much time in monitoring company’s inventory weekly with the suggested system it will help them to reduce  the burden to record daily.

Analysis

        Copy Pacific Trading & Services is  one of the best photocopier but when it comes to inventory they are having a hard time to write down all the records. By having  a inventory system rather manual system writing one by one all the records everyday it is difficult for them to keep all the records and organize it.

Design

        The Sales and Inventory System that the researchers proposed for the company make sure the importance of time manage in work and well-organized. The researchers will it make sure that the system will be easy to use. By designing a simple design the user wouldn’t have a hard time using the system.

Development

        The researchers make sure that the system that we develop are well functioning and working.

B. Feasibility Study

Organizational and Cultural Feasibility

        The researchers will be creating Sales and Inventory System. The system can help the company to reduce the burden of their work and manageable.

Technological Feasibility

        The persons who can operate the system will be the front desk personnel and the owner of the company. The user of the system must have enough knowledge on how will use the system. Only desktop or laptop are allowed when using the system.

Schedule Feasibility

        The researchers were able to finish the objectives of the system. The company will be the one who will benefit of the system.

Resource Feasibility

        Sales and Inventory System allows only desktop or laptop to implement the system. The system is simple and easy to use so the user will not have a hard time to use the system.
