In today’s World, marijuana is commonly used by both teenage and adults. Marijuana can be used for reducing depression, medical purposes, socialization, obtaining a high; it has impacted the lives human beings. Though cannabis is not legalized in most of the countries, most of people still use it. If the people do not want to listen to it only rule of law can rectify it. Marijuana is believed to affects the brain functions such as: memory, harmonization, wisdom, and the capability to problem solve; allowing it to stay illegal causes no difference in utilize, but inflicts on other significant issues that should be dealt with.

First, the effect of legalizing marijuana is argued on medical benefits, more so for patients suffering from cancer especially those undergoing chemotherapy. Research has proved that marijuana cure chronic pain, insomnia, epilepsy and reduces depression. Legalizing marijuana will reduce strong feelings and distress among people ignoring the medicinal capabilities of marijuana (Holland 89). Macro-level factors, such as traditional beliefs and setup related to material use, determine marijuana use, abuse and dependence. Cerdá, M., Wall, M., Keyes, K. M., Galea, S., & Hasin, D. (2012) they tested the relationship between state-level legalization of marijuana for medical and personal use, maltreatment and belief. Disorders as well including dystonia, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy and tics associated with Tourette’s syndrome, patients with neuroprotective properties can use marijuana to be treated (Gross, Hamm, Ashworth, Quigley). Most of states, users have turned to synthetic marijuana because of the prohibition and the illegal status.

Secondly, in many years ago, people have attempted to find methods to get through the struggles of their lives because of pain of the world stopping people from enjoying simple pleasures; sometimes there is a need for help through marijuana to bring relief from the pain they feel on a day-to-day basis. The effect of legalizing marijuana is that the criminal justice will convey its resources to serious offenses. The war on drugs is not easy for the criminal justice system (Rosenthal and Kubby 102). War on drugs is failing, because of facilities in US is over, and there is damage on the criminal justice resources. Also Legalizing marijuana will assist acquittal up the criminal justice resources to focus on terrorism, murder and homicides, and harder drugs. Legalizing marijuana will help in lowering the road justice related with drugs, which is the primary cause of recurring street hostility and deaths. Therefore, legalizing marijuana will be an effective strategy to eradicate street violence and enhance public safety (Chepesiuk 105).
