How CRRC Could Improve In Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Summary

CRRC is convinced that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, follow the path of ecology first and green development unswervingly, abide by the national laws, regulations and standards concerning ecological and environmental protection strictly, strengthen the ecological protection and pollution prevention and control constantly, make the response to climate change, energy conservation and emission reduction as our own responsibilities, and integrate the green, low carbon and sustainable concepts into the whole process of corporate operation and management so as to create a green CRRC. In addition, CRRC also pays attention to the interests and appeals of every stakeholder and undertakes the social responsibility of enterprises.

Energy Conservation

While abiding by the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Law of the People's Republic of China on Energy Conservation and other national laws and regulations, CRRC also formulates rules and regulations, continues to improve the energy and environmental management, strengthens the emergency management of emergent environmental incidents and establishes an effective management system for energy conservation and emission reduction.

The hydrogen energy has been successfully applied in the world's first hydrogen-powered tram developed by CRRC Sifang. The hydrogen powered tram adopts hydrogen cell as its traction power, with a long range.

CRRC released a new generation of carbon fiber metro car "CETROVO" officially at InnoTrans 2018 held in Germany on September 18, 2018. The new generation of metro cars is equipped with a new high-efficiency and energy saving traction system, which greatly improves the traction efficiency and saves energy by more than 15% on the whole. In the future, this technology will make great contribution to energy conservation and emission reduction after large-scale application.
