Ego booster: An ego booster is something that makes someone to feel better about oneself. It includes something like success or praise that a person achieves from his or her works. It also raises a person's morale enabling one to have high spirits.

Example:

1) At office I work very hard and manage my office worker as a good manager. Due to my good management in the organization the company was doing well. And the company shares were also increasing. So due to the well management and being the good leadership my boss called me and said he would increase my salary. So the increment in the salary made my hard work was being appreciated and increased my self-steam.

2) This was the time when I was working in the hotel as a cook. I served the dish items to the costumer. And that costumer liked the dish so much that he said that he has not had ever eaten this much tasty food in his life. This made my dish very much accepted. And made me proud of my job.

Ego busters: Ego busters are people that make comments directly or indirectly that make you feel bad about yourself.

1) Once I failed in my ninth grade I was really frustrated. And then I was going to readmit in the same ninth grade his rest of friends who passed friend were all backbiting on me. They all told me what a failure guy and they told me that I would not pass again. That really demotivated me and made me sad.

2) I had two best friends who used help in problem. And I also used in the problem. But now we are in the same business line of whole sale of goods. And I made loss in our business. My friend told me that what a useless guy that I couldn’t even handle the business properly. This made me feel very demotivated and bad.
