In the story of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, connections can be made between it and the story of Equality 7-2521. They both discuss and display the consequences of “sinning,” even though they do this in different ways. Equality 7-2521 lived in a community that was actually inhabited by other people, so he could base his actions off of others. However, his society was very secretive and withheld information from the workers. This is why when Equality 7-2521 makes his discovery, it is such an abomination.
