In order to faithfully analyze situations within a company, it has been decided to make analytical reasoning of the WikiLeaks through SWOT analysis.

Strengths of the organization

Authentic news: The major strength, that makes WikiLeaks unique and outstanding is the fact that it provides an authentic facts, news and materials to the public, that are not available through traditional public media corporations. The uniqueness of the WikiLeaks is that it provides information alongside the original source of material revealing evidence of the truth to readers. [Leigh, 2011]

Management team: The organization has wide experience in service know-how and with the help of strong management it could eliminate weaknesses by utilizing strengths. [Paletta, 2015]

Technology: The superior technology of the organization allows it to better meet the needs of the readers as well as protect the sources. [Leigh, 2011]

Brand name: the strong brand name plays a vital role in the activity of the WikiLeaks. The fact, that the customers place additional value on the brand, gives the ability to the organization to charge higher prices for their products. [Bates, 2005]

Volunteer staff: The WikLeaks has the loosely affiliated network of volunteers spread all over the world. Supported by them, the organization manages to succeed in collecting and publishing the secret materials and news. [Farivar, 2013]

Weaknesses of the organization

Online presence: The weak online presence of the WikiLeaks has resulted in lost opportunities for the organization.
