Which risk management standard to be implemented?and why?
On my opinion ISO 31000-2009 is the best risk management standard since our company imports raw materials as well as exports float glass to different countries hence it would be best for companys betterment.Supporting my opinion I would like to highlight a few points about the ISO standards:
- It can be applied to any kind of a risk and it is independent of its nature, having positive or negative consequences.
- It can be applied to a wide range of activities in a company- strategies, decisions, operations, processes, functions, projects, products, services and assets.
- It helps in assessing how completely the risk management method has been applied to a company.
- It improves loss preventions and incident management as well as environmental protection.
- It helps improving stakeholders trust and confidence in a company.
- It helps a company to comply and regulate according to international norms.
It helps a company enhancing its safety performance.
