Since 1976, the Myth vs. Science Fair exhibit has been a very beneficial factor to both NASA and RMAA. It has provided the publicity that our organization needs and also benefits NASA by portraying their scientific achievements. However, we have run into some first time problems that are causing major discrepancies within our organization.

Last month we ran our usual Myth vs. Science Fair exhibit at the George R. Brown Convention in Houston Texas, we were surprised to find last week, without being notified, that we had been charged $3,000 for the use of our animals in the exhibit. We were also shocked when just a few days ago we noticed that one of the animals from section 3-A of the exhibit was walking with a limp, which later turned out to be a torn muscle on the back leg. Our records show that the animal sustained injury during the time of exhibit.

I have contacted with Mark Markerson and Dana Ulmann, however they have told me that they have no control in removing the costs of the exhibit and/or contributing to the medical costs of our injured animal. They have redirected me to you in hopes that you will be able to take care of this problem.  

As you know, Rights for Mythical Animals Alliance has and always will be a non-profit organization. Our purpose is to serve and maintain these animals to insure their quality of life. With this exhibit cost and medical bill, we will not be able to insure our future partnership. I insist that you at least eliminate the exhibit bill and contribute to the medical costs of our injured animal. I hope the resolve these issues and continue to partner with NASA in the future.
