Motivation letter for Master of Accountancy: Professional (RA/RC) track
Dear Madam or Sir,
With this letter, I wish hereby to apply and state my motivation for the entrance to the Master of Accountancy: Professional (RA/RC) track programme, offered at Tilburg University for the 2018/19 academic year, September intake. With my previous experience as an Auditor, Accountant, project manager and my educational background related to finance and accounting makes me a suitable candidate for this program.
I have completed my Master of Finance and Accounting (MFA) from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences in Netherlands. During my degree, I was very active in many facets of university life. I have done number of individual and combine assignments during my study. This gave me an outlet to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and also sparked my interest in Accountancy, controlling and Auditing field. Tilburg is one of the best student cities in Europe, it has always appealing to me specially for it’s international environment and cultural diversity.
The presence of big 4 auditing firms and other international company’s in Netherlands is a clear sign that companies’ always demand a workforce with a specialised skillset. With this degree I would like to meet this demand and, in the future, be a pioneer in the auditing, controlling, financial management, consulting and in a banking sector. Furthermore, Netherlands geographic location and current economic strength attract industry experts from around the world. With the Master of Accountancy, this would be a perfect ground to establish the next step of my professional career.
With all of my experience listed, I am in search of bringing my career to the next level. Additionally, the subjects offered in this program are specifically in line with my professional goals. I am certain that the knowledge and skills learnt from my professional experience, university, and extracurricular activities would make me a valuable addition to the Masters of Accountancy program offered at Tilburg University.
