INTRODUCTION

PepsiCo manufactured and produced Pepsi which is carbonated soft drink. In 1983 it was developed under the brand name of Brad’s Drink later it was renamed as Pepsi-Cola but then in 1961 its new name was proposed as Pepsi. Trade mark of PepsiCo was registered in 1905 in New York. Through heavy advertisement in radio Pepsi gained popularity in 1936 to 1938 and earned double revenue as compared to prior years. In 1940s Walter Mack became a President of Pepsi-Cola and by adopting professional approach in advertisement campaign and picking professional employees Pepsi also popular in Black people of America. In 1950s the most common slogan was used in classic motion pictures and radio was “Pepsi-Cola Hits the Spot”. Film actress Joan Crawford promotes Pepsi by appearing in Television commercials after married with the President of Pepsi-Cola. American hockey team Buffalo Bisons was sponsored by Pepsi-Cola, they wear blue, white and red color suit along with a Pepsi logo in hockey matches. From nineteen century to twenty century PepsiCo promotes Pepsi in worldwide through continuous advertisement campaign in radio, social websites and television as well as sponsors different Football, Hockey and cricket teams.

The main ingredients of Pepsi are caramel color, sugar, caffeine, phosphoric acid, natural flavors, citric acid high fructose and corn syrup. Pepsi can include 30 mg of sodium, 150 calories, and 38 mg of caffeine and 41 grams of carbohydrates and zero gram of fat. In February 2013 Pepsi launched a new produced named as Pepsi Next which contain Stevia and 30% less sugar and all other ingredients remain same. Mostly people like to drink Pepsi with burgers, Rise and Meat that’s why Pepsi was sold in different junk food restaurants.

Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company manufactures Coke which is a carbonated soft drink. The trade mark of Coke was registered in March 27, 1944. In 2013 survey tells that Coke was sold in worldwide round about 200 countries. The other main products of Coca Cola are Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Cherry, Coca-Cola vanilla and Coca-Cola Zero, Coca-Cola Raspberry, Coca-Cola Black Cherry Vanilla, Coca-Cola Blak, Coca Cola Citra and Coca Cola Orange. Coca Cola also concentrate heavy advertisement campaign and their advertising significantly changed American culture. Coca-Cola Company sponsors different Football, Hockey and Cricket teams and through commercials in television, radio and social websites the brand name of Coke was famous in worldwide and earned heavy revenues. The main ingredient of coke includes sucrose, cane sugar, caffeine, coca extract, lime, glycerin, caramel color, and vanilla. People like to drink Coke with Different types of food like Rise and meat that’s why Coke sold in different Food restaurants.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc.

It is an American based soft drink company. In 1998 the Group of Carlyle was bought Beverages America and Beverage bottlers. Cadbury Schweppes purchased the Dr Pepper or Seven up Bottling Group In 2006 and 2007 along with several other district bottlers. The Group of Dr Pepper Snapple was purchased marginal interest of NuGrape, Big Red, Nesbitt's and other flavored drinks in 2008. In 2014, the company publicized that they reducing use of polyethylene terephthalate in its plastic bottles. The Company started trading of its shares in stock market on May 5, 2008. The main products are Diet Rite, Canada Dry, Country Time, Crush, Deja Blue Water, Diet Rite, Cactus Cooler, squirt, Sun Drop Wink and Yoo-hoo etc. Larry D. Young is the Chief executive officer of the company and headquarters of the company exists in Plano.
