In today’s business world the issue of how to provide a better service and the best product through utilizing advance technology is always a popular topic. Propitiate strategies combined with new technology definitely can enhance most company’s performance, and it is also a very crucial competitive advantage to HR professionals.

From company’s perspective, in order to increase the productivity and performance, new technology can help HR professionals to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring high quality talents and managing exist employees.

For example, with high quality software, managers will feel easy to manage their employee’s performance, compensations, benefits, attendance, profiles, or training. etc through software. When HR recruiter use recruiting tools can find high quality candidates and also enhance the efficiency of the process of receiving resume, selecting, screening, etc.

From employees’ perspective, new employees prefer to work for a company that has attractive advantages besides compensation and benefits, such as a challengeable work, or a good career development and training plan. Existing employees also need reasons to stay in the company if the company can create an efficient management structure and provide more useful tools to make working process more smooth and convenient.

In Zara’s case, their main strategy is the ability to respond very quickly to the demands of different customers, and able to identify the trends of the customer in advance and link customer demand to manufacturing. Zara’s basic ordering activity in store is the store manager order clothes by using a PDA device, but the problem is the PDA device could not share any information with the POS system.
