How sustainable is Apple’s competitive position in PC’s, MP3 players, and smartphones?

Apple remained committed to the education market for many years. However, new PC products focused on home consumers’ instead. Customers enjoy Apple’s innovative products. For example, one kind of Apple computer: the ultra-thin Mac Air, is described as “stylish”, “slim” and “powerful”, words that were seemingly reserved for it. Thus, Mac Air became the third –largest PC vendor in the US. With 11% unit share in Q4 2011. Apple’s vision and strategy help it sustain in the PC market Vision that shows sustainability.

Here some examples, why customers made Apple PCs third company of US market shares with approximately 13%.

  5.  Superior Quality
  6. Large Customer Base
  7. Comparable with Windows and has capability to use software such as Microsoft Office

One more example, why do we trust in sustainable Apple’s competitive positions is that, Apple has a stable market share compared to its competitors Apple has steadily maintained a ratio of around 3%-5% in the PC Manufactures’ world market share in the last 10 years, which means it has a huge, sustainable market share power.

MP3 Players.

For answering this question, first of all I want ask you all of you-

Right now, do any of the MP3 Players still vacant and valuable in the market??? Of course Apple made a big revolution in the world of the MP3 players by creating iPod, but it’s all in the past and already history. Lets say like this: Do you remember your last moment, when you were in electronic shop and could saw a person, who is going to buy MP3 player?  I think, you probably answer will be no.

From our point of view, market of the mp3 players is dying. It’s not so important, which brand you are taking as an example. Usability of the MP3 players to small for carrying them around. For this mission we have smartphones. Lets conclude like this-MP3 play is a small part of your Smartphone!
