Blueprint for GD-PI preparation can be as follows(this is what i had followed for myself):

1. A lot of reading everyday. Most of the day should go into reading. You can and must read whatever comes your way.
Reading will help in two ways:
a. GD- you will have enough to speak only if you have ideas and knowledge.
b. PI- A lot many questions are based on current affairs and general awareness. You can also quote examples from current affairs for something personal that is asked to you.

2. After you make sure that you have been reading good everyday, try to speak with as many people as possible in English. Just to make sure that you are in touch of speaking english.

3. Write down 8-10 categories on blank papers. Like
City Related Qs
State related Qs
Company related Qs ( for work-ex people)
Job/Work-profile related Qs
Hobby1 (Dont even think about trying to fake it or you will be a gone case)
Hobby2
Personal Qs ( Tell me about yourself, Why MBA, Strengths Weaknesses etc )
Acads related Qs ( Basic stuff- Dont ignore this)
Current affairs related Qs- ( You must be aware about the current affairs)
Social conscience Related Qs- ( Your opinion about a particular problem in the society e.g. Poverty, Corruption etc)

4. In every of the above category, write down around 8-10 probable questions that you think can be asked to you. Write answer to each of them or some of them and rehearse them. Try to show these answers to friends, teachers etc. Try to better the answers with time.

5. This way you will be proactively prepared for the PIs. Also appear for at least 3-4 mock PIs at a later stage. But for now work only on the points above.

6. For GDs, join some coaching and practice as much as you can. Watch news, jot down points and think about how are you going to expand those points in GD etc. Keep a diary with you 24x7. Keep writing in it. Try to remember some facts too. They help a lot in the GDs.

7. Dont miss even a single editorial in a day's newspaper. Also go through any magazine's last 12 editions. One business and one political. ( Like outlook(i know it's boring but read it) and business line or business world.)
