South Korea's Lotte World

South Korea's Lotte World is the world's largest indoor theme park. It was built on July 12, 1989. It covers an area of 40,00 pings and the total area of 180,000 pings. Lotte World is located in the heart of Seoul and it is close to Metro Line 2 Jamsil Station so the transportation is very convenient. The ownership and operator of the theme park are Lotte Group. Lotte Group has built and invested about 650 billion won in Lotte World. Lotte Group also has other business units such as hotels, electronics, candy manufacturing, etc.

As the world's largest indoor theme park, Lotte world can attract around 8 million visitors every year. Lotte world was developed as a new conception “another city in a city”. Lotte World is playing a role as a future city designed to provide a one-stop solution for leisure, sightseeing, shopping, accommodations.
