Freedom of Speech & Freedom of Press

There are many ways for us to get our point across and there are also many ways to be understood and treated fairly. There are also many issued with our democratic society and the right to speak freely without suffering consequences. There is a very thin line that must not be crossed when using the right to speak or announce something that might offend or open a chapter of issues which has been either forgotten of left alone on purpose. Freedom of Speech and the context or expressions in which it is exercised may be judged accordingly to the event as well as the elevation of the authorities. When using the right s of freedom of speech you must respect the rights of others as well as the laws and be also very sure of the seriousness of the context.

The free speech rights in a democratic society are broken down in various ways. Our government is ran by many politicians that have studied these rights and examined then to the point where the no how to work around the limitations. We must as people know that the rules that are put into place are not for the advantage of the American people but against the democratic society. Once we have made it up in our mind to know the government and its policies then we can start to explore the options to freely speaking. Freedom of speech in a democratic society is the only way to move forward in the world we are in today. Everyone wants the ability to express their opinion as well as the goals and how to get them. Without know the right path and the right jurisdictions you will not succeed in this political world. There are many ways to be herd. In order to be specific with freedom of speech and its content in a democratic society, it is better to push the issue of democracy thru media. Mass media will always give you the best punch at the higher authorities but, you must l always be sure of the context that you are displaying or the expressions you are giving. Once this is done you will have the press and the news do what they usually do which is criticize authorities and politicians. This is the only way to avoid vigorous opposition from the opposing parties. Mass media is the best option for the society to exercise its right to freedom of speech expression. However, there are some limitations to the whole idea of speaking freely. There is no such this as freedom with an unlimited ability to say what you want when and where you want without reprimand. You must know your right s and be aware of the laws. There are many restrictions that you must follow. Some of the following such as slander, obscenity, sedition and many more are most common offences of the limitations.
