Event That Changed My Life

It has been two years since my mother passed away, a 42 year old woman, she had left 3 of her children and 5 grandchildren behind. She was taken away from us due to cancer which happened in Kilgore, Texas. I called my mother a week before her death to set up a date to come see her and get lunch with her. When I arrived that day at her place I walked into her room found her in bed, I just thought she was sleeping, but then she did not answer me so I walked over to her checked to see if she was breathing and she was not. I wanted to help her so badly, but I knew there was nothing I can do to being her back. May 17, 2010, the last day my mother took her last breathes, this day is the worst day of my life.

My family members were there for me because they wanted to make sure I stayed healthy mentally and physically. Going through the loss of a parent takes a toll out on a lot of people. So learning from the experience showed me that I would like to be there for others to help them through their grief, to just show them that there are people out there that want to help you.
