Peters Strengths:

1. He has acquired complete knowledge of what is going in St. Paul horizontally and vertically. Olafson has touched each area, though he had no previous experience in Digital Subscriber Line (DSL).

2. Peter Olafson’s some of the initiatives such as weekly meetings shows that he is aware of the importance of communication and gives value to everyone’s comments and suggestions.

3. Eager to learn: Peter Olafson is a progressive manager in sense that he likes to grab as much learning and expertise as possible. He was very happy when in got to know that he will be working under Jurgens initially because he saw that as an opportunity to learn.

4. Authoritative: He knows how to do work and make changes in the organization such as promoting Sabrina Hayes etc., if he sees things will be better.

5. Reevaluation: He is constantly changing the organizations setup to make it better.

6. Also, Peter is not a control freak. He gives the employees freedom to work on their own space and tries to make them comfortable.

7. He is a clear communicator. When there was a salary dispute between Tuffer Barnes and Tad Smith, Olefson handled things nicely by talking through as they were.

8. Active: Peter is taking every situation as a challenge and working so hard towards making St. Paul successful with no further delay in work. He is a very dedicated person.

Peters Weaknesses:

1. Not fully Authoritative / Powerful: Though he is at a good position still he has borrowed power, where he has to ask everything from Jim Harvey who is always reluctant of any change.
