Methods of Data Collection

The findings for this report came from the primary research of 3 focus group, they are customers, toys retailers and production mangers. We will observe customers' purchasing habit in order to know their expectation of the product. Second, we will observe our product line, staffs' working attitude in the factory which is located in Chain. Last, we will also obverse toys retailers' reaction to the product in order to know if the product put in the hot selling price or not.

Besides, a random sample of customers must be surveyed to determine the full range of problems that we have encountered. It is because the complaint rate for marketing and product performance related problems is significantly lower.

First, we will target the customer groups especially on the 120 complaints cases and get the feedback or comments on our products, regarding on the price, product quality, and distribution channel.

Second, we will try to approach the toys retailers and distributor, since, in many cases, consumer complaints are received in the first instance by the retailer, and many retailers have detailed consumer complaints systems and are a useful source of safety information. In addition, the dolls with retail price for $300 are the main strategic pass to draw attention to purchase it.
