Introduction

Law enforcement officers are faced with perplexed roles to uphold the mandates set forth, while maintaining high levels of professionalism at all times. Historically, law enforcement has existed to control crimes and as time evolved, with principles by Sir Robert Peel, society is provided with hope, and assurance they will be protected and respected by a system that is still today prevalent in the criminal justice system. The formation is focused on officers apprehending criminal offenders and punishes those who violate the laws of the state, protect citizens, and maintain the roadways, while maintaining order. If law enforcement officers take an oath to practice ethical principles, laws and standards of the department, criminal charges will be held for any officer found accountable for unethical behaviors (Gaines, & Miller, 2007).

For police officers to provide society service there are various implementations required by the department, and its role. Some implementations are to answer distress calls for domestic violence, murder, robbery, criminal acts, maintaining the freeway traffic, and providing overall public safety. Sir Robert Peel provided service for officers to engage in society social interactions, so the laws and community services are in effect. The society is supposed to be provided with the choice to vote for or against servicing. For example, there are many people who perceive traffic enforcement has no prevalence, and some who perceive that automobile insurance is not necessary; however, the law suggests it's by choice. There are restrictions for citizens to have freedom, and it is vital for police officers to communicate with societal members of the restrictions and limits.

Society is persuaded by social servicing. Police officers who can maintain his or her duties as an officer while meeting the need of a specific community, is referred to as social servant actively part of public relations. The police officers authorize crime stopper and neighborhood watch programs, as well as maintaining proper order in society. The police officers provision the laws of and enforce the statutes of the state (Banks, 2008).

The society depends on the law enforcement officers and investigation unit to protect and serve the communities. Moreover, the policing system has assisted securing society and reducing crime rates across the nation. Society maintains the overall system, commission, and outfit officers provide, as well as policing agencies that use the ascendancy for the society to respect while the laws are enforced.
