Cervical cancer is a disease that affects the cervix in the female reproductive system. The cervix is the lower portion of the uterus that connects the upper vagina to the uterus. It is about two inches in length. During childbirth, the cervix dilates, allowing the baby to travel from the uterus to the vagina. There are a few things that can cause a female to contract this disease, for instant if a girl in her teens becomes sexually active too early she might be at risk of contracting this disease and a teen girl being sexually active at a early age can be due to the exposure of sexual material such as pornography which can be obtained through the internet or in books of that nature and this drives the young teen to want to experience the things that they see.

Another cause for this disease is being forced into sexual activities and also having multiple sex partners for example having to many short relationships so it's best to find a partner who's serious and also cheating on your spouse because of the lost of trust in the relationship. Some

women even turn to prostitution due to financial difficulties, women involved in this act are highly favoured for contracting this disease because of the multiply partners.

Evidence shows that long-term use of contraceptives such as Yaz birth control pills, may be associated with an increased risk of cervical cancer, although contraceptive use may increase the risk of cervical cancer, human papilloma virus (HPV) which is a virus that is the cause of common warts is recognized as the major cause of this disease. The miss use of these contraceptives can even increase the risk of heart attacks and also this can raise ones blood pressure.

A few way in which this disease can be taken cared of is going through surgery but it would be smart to consult a doctor first so you can be aware of the risk associated with this decision, once that's done its left up to you to go through with the surgery
