A Soccer player's Nutrition

What is nutrition? Basically nutrition is supply of food for a person's body parts to function. Nutrition is basic need for all people however all athletes must have a certain type of nutrition because athletes must maintain in a peak condition not only by training but also by tackling the right amount and type of food to eat.

An athlete always takes in a certain amount of calories and nutrition, which will help the athlete to build more glucose from the carbohydrates taken in, protein that is used to build up the muscles, As there are 6 types of nutrition, there are 2 groups, one group is used for energy (glucose) and the other is to supply and benefit the use of main body functions. For some reasons, the Digestive system may receive Blood from the Aorta Move to the Liver and continued on to the Vena Cava thus this is how Nutrients gained from food is transformed into energy and then passed on to the body, The Liver is present in order to take out any waste in cells or to clean it.

There are three methods that I am going to discuss in related with nutrition for soccer athletes to improve his/her performance namely:

• A diet of nutrition and variety of food option

It must be balanced so that he or she might maintain his/her condition in a peak training condition. Soccer players tend to change course and may retain at a certain speed to block opponents or score a goal that way carbohydrates must be there to be transformed into ATP (adenosine triphosphate) for energy and when ATP has run out, ADP, will use glucose or Lactic Acid, will take over and become the body's energy source. Soccer players consume large amounts of energy in order to keep up with the opponents therefore their diets must have lots of carbohydrates, protein must be included in order for the muscle strength to improved, muscle recovery is exceptionally great, in addition protein is also a source of energy.

Athletes must vary their food options in order for them to have a balanced amount of certain carbs, proteins, vitamin, minerals, etc. With different amounts of each nutrients, athletes may either remain in a good condition or the athletes body may have certain body effects for example: An athlete needs protein for muscle recovery however too much protein will lead to fatigue because of the glycogen, too much fat will lead into too much stomach fat and will reduce speed, etc.

• Soccer players need pregame, during, and post game food

Pre-game food will provide energy for a soccer player to use a few hours before a game. As soccer players will change their direction and speed every 5-6 seconds, they need carbohydrates. If a soccer player's match is in the morning the following day then the athlete must have a carbohydrate
