Work in Abroad

I found a job advertisement on one of the popular employment agency's site. They looked for an expert photographer to an event organizer firm in Germany.

The advertisement filled with lot of details and included a phone number. I called them and spoke with an assistant from the agency. She told me exactly about the firm's profile and the job. She also asked me to sent an e-mail with my CV as an attachment. When I arrived in Berlin, I contact again with them. They gave me the address of the firm, where they had sent my CV previously. Furthermore, they were very helpful to find me a small apartment near the city centre week before I arrived in Berlin.

I had a meeting with my boss in his bureau. He said that the job last for two years, because one of his event photographer is on a maternity leave. First month the firm employed me as a trainee. I had a colleague, whom I went to the events such as weddings, corporal meetings and celebrations. He gave suggestions how to be invincible to those who order an event and take wonderful pictures, which could speak about the event.

He also helped me to fit in the German atmosphere. At the day offs he invited me to join with him and his friend to their accustomed seat in their favorite bar. We always talked about our days and weeks that past from previous hangout. The most interesting was that in the group there are two other ones, who are also from other countries. Of course I knew very well that in Germany there are so many different cultures, people before I had come to there. But if you saw in the real life, it always be so odd and also interesting.

Thanks to my work I could slice small pieces from the country's cultural diversity. I had been in a Turkish wedding, traditional receptions and luxurious tailor made events. I had chance to meet lot of people during my work. The best was that all was free to me, moreover I got paid well from them.
