In my opinion, loyalty has become a 'thing of the past' and is somewhat rare to find. This is something that as a generation, we must change. Wooden used this at the center of his pyramid to show how crucial it is and how it affects other blocks of the pyramid. Personally, I find it easier to stand up for someone who would do the same for me versus someone who just sits there and says nothing. Loyalty is something that I value greatly because then I will know who was there for me in my time of failure and who only shows up when I become successful.

Confidence is something that everyone should have, but that's not the case. Self-confidence is something that cannot be taught. It is up to that person to decide how much they believe in themselves. I have finally realized that I have to believe in myself before others will believe in me. I'd like to thank my mom for helping me understand this concept and always giving me that boost when I needed it the most. No matter what someone will always have some negative feelings towards you, but you have to learn to ignore it and not let it affect your confidence and most importantly, keep doing you!

If you're going through life and not enthused, then you need to reevaluate. Life only happens once and we have no idea how long or short it could be, so you might as well enjoy it while you can and live in each and every moment. Recently, I discovered how I could use my enthusiasm for sports to declare my major. Choosing a career in the sports field is perfect because I can do what I love. My mom always told us kids to choose a career that we could be enthused about on a daily basis and to never give it up.
