Before I start anything, I have to realize that the world is not as it seems. Everything has dual meaning, one seems by our casual eye and for another one we have to use our analytical eye. Anmol Restaurant, a Pakistani restaurant, where I usually go for dinner. It is a family dine-in restaurant, located at 2858 W. Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL. This restaurant has opened a year ago, but in a short time period they got popularity because of their management and taste of food. The restaurant has a capacity of serving almost hundred people at a time. Today I went to this restaurant, but I used my analytical eye to observe the overnight popularity of this restaurant.

On the entrance of a restaurant, there is a well looking manger who gives smile to every customer. He always looks fresh as he just starts his day, and this thing made their customer fresh as well. He accompanies customers to the table and gives them a menu of a restaurant. In few moments, well dressed waiter come along with a jug of water and fill the glasses with it. Waiters are also well dressed with smile on their faces. The appearance and attitude of the staff is the main cause to bring the customers back to this place.

It is a tidy and cozy restaurant, with a fragrance of apple and cinnamon. Lights of a restaurant are soft white, which gives coolness to eyes. I can’t ignore the soft wooden tables and comfortable chairs. There are four flat screen televisions mounted on the walls, with some decent family programs on it. A funny thing which I noticed today is that there is one bar table having soft beverages on it, because using alcohol is illegal in Islam. A restaurant is look like Pakistani traditional restaurants, which let feel their customers more comfortable. There are Pakistan’s famous places pictures hanging on the walls. Because of the atmosphere, I and all of my peers call it “A real Desi restaurant”. Desi means the people belong from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh living
