Rules are often created to obtain some type of organized stability also known as discipline and to produce a better structured society creating some type of positive behavior.  However some rules are created by well-structured organizations that practice bad behavior and are against positive change.  With that in mind to what extent are rules considered good for us?   To what extent can we take the laws created then and the new ones built today serious?  How can we follow or unfollow such laws if some that were created many years ago have been demolished if not changed.  It does not make any sense to follow a law for several years only to have it change one day, so the entire time you were told not to do something because you can get put into jail for it, is now completely fine to do.  For instance the idea of two women being together or two men, let alone same sex marriage was just something absurd and immoral but so was smoking marijuana and now it’s used to save lives and completely fine to do in the state of Colorado.  What is clearly right in one state is clearly unethical in many other states; it just doesn’t make sense as don’t the rights of same sex married couples.  Same sex marriages have their own rights and freedom in the few states that allow, support, and recognize such law.  But what should happen to those rights granted by such states to the people for the people, when moving and now residing in another state that does not recognize such law?

Years ago rules were made by the government to be followed, not to be broken and especially not to be altered.  Without any type of evolution or behavior against these types of rules we would still be living in an era where blacks would have their own restroom or their own water fountain aside from whites.  If it were not for change women would more than likely not be able to vote or work.  If it were not for change diversity, own opinions, freedom of speech, and all the people that make up the United States of America would stand for nothing and have nothing to do with all changes in laws such as smoking marijuana or the extent of rights for those same sex marriages.  In addition to that if a same sex married couple once from Massachusetts has to move to Texas because of their job, should Texas acknowledge the rights of a same sex marriage as the previous state did?
