Creating my resume was by far one of the most challenging task I ever achieved. Being as though I am part of OMBUS, I was already required to have a resume developed and critiqued. My resume was like a high school resume as they would say. I had three pages worth of in-depth material on myself that it was hard to differentiate what was important and what was necessary. The lady that we had at our resume workshop tore my resume apart and helped me rebuild it to be a great one page resume that could be used efficiently in any interview. Since I already had an approved resume from one person who does resumes for a living, I did not fear that the Career Development Center staff member would not approve. The graduate assistant was a great help because I emailed her my resume a day before it was due and she looked it over and gave me a few pointers on the presentation of the resume. They only feedback that she gave me was to bold some things and un-bold some things.

I had a few troubles with loading the resume on Cougar Jobline but Kelly (graduate assistant) was a great help and she loaded it for me. I then was able to go online and explore Cougar Jobline, I must say that I am truly impressed by how many jobs and internship opportunities they have to offer. Since I am only a junior I already plan to apply for as many internships and co-op ships I possibly can for the next summer. They had plenty of opportunities that anybody in the school of business could apply for and have the option to apply to many more. I feel like any experience in the business world is the best experience to add to your resume. Definitely a great aspect to add to your resume.
