How can personality test be useful to an organization?

Jobs relating to performance in sales and management jobs are associated with extraversion. Some companies prefer employees with a “focused introverted” personality, because employees with such traits are not distracted while operating on the job. Certain personality types are best associated with certain jobs as it creates a great personality portfolio for the job fit. For example, accountants are most likely to be introverted, as introverts are likely to pay more attention to detail, and they do not need to interact much with others to do their job. The ultimate benefit of using a personality test tests include an increased ability for organizations to predict probable attitudes and behaviors that could ultimately influence the individual's success or failure within the organization, and therefore, the individual’s impact on company's profitability and efficiency.
